1844 - 1863 九紫离火运

In this article, i will try and explore the period from 1844 to 1863 which is governed by fire in feng shui.

Fire represents:

1. Brightness and hope or culture

2. War and revolution

3. Food and beverage industry

4. Technology sector and electricity

5. Energy sector like oil and gas industry

6. Eye. the eye can see many things analogous to the way sunlight shines on every corner of the earth

7. Mass communication

Prior to the official entry into the 'fire' element period of 1844 to 1863, there were already some development around the subject of electric.

In 1833, Wilhelm Weber and Carl Friedrich Gauss invented the world's first electromagnetic telegraph

In 1839, Michael Faraday published Experimental researches in electricity, with the second and third volume coming in on 1844 & 1845

In 1840, Warren De la Rue enclosed a platinum coil in a vacuum tube and passed an electric current through it, thus creating one of the world's first electric light bulbs.

In 1844, Samuel Morse sent the first electric telegram out, and helped developed the Morse code for the commercial use of telegraphy.

In 1846, Carl Zeiss founded Zeiss optoelectrics and digital camera.

In 1847, Werner Siemens founded  Siemens & Halske AG

But before i dwell further, the kondratiev wave does coincide with many of the cycles that other people have identified on their own. The Kondratiev wave does correspond to the 六十甲子, and Samuel Benner's prediction, as all of them mostly add up to the range of 54 - 60 years.
